Executive Summary
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, is one of India’s leading oil refineries. With large-scale operations and high monthly invoice volumes across multiple SAP landscapes, MRPL required a more structured and scalable approach to manage vendor invoices and related processes.
As part of its move toward a modern SAP environment, MRPL faced challenges around migrating and revamping its existing OpenText VIM setup, handling OCR, storage, and archived data separation across geographies and systems.
